Generally, acupuncture is thought to help by stimulating the release of endorphins and neurochemical modulators that change the processing of pain in the brain. It reduces inflammation and improves muscle stiffness and joint mobility by increasing local circulation.

Fatigue is a common complaint and for some is severely debilitating. Addressing causative factors such as poor sleep, stress, immune, digestive or endocrine system irregularities can help improve energy levels.

Typical chronic pain conditions include:
